Dengue and mosquito spray prices in Lahore — 2026
Most people in Lahore book mosquito spraying in September, when the first dengue cases are in the news. That's already late. Here's what treatment costs in this city, how long it actually lasts, and why the month you book matters more than what you pay.
What mosquito and pest treatment costs in Lahore
Published rates from Lahore pest services, 2026:
| Job | Typical published price |
|---|---|
| Mosquito package, three sprays | Rs 10,000 – 18,000 |
| Annual termite contract | Rs 40,000 – 75,000 |
Prices scale with property size — a 5 marla house and a 2 kanal house are very different jobs — and with whether the treatment is inside, outside, or both.

The thing nobody tells you: residual spray lasts 2–3 months
This is the fact that should decide when you book.
A residual mosquito treatment stays effective for roughly two to three months. Dengue transmission in Lahore peaks from September through November.
Work backwards and the answer is obvious:
- Spray in May, pre-monsoon — worn off before the peak. This is the most common mistake, and it feels responsible at the time.
- Spray in September, when cases are already being reported — you're treating during the peak rather than ahead of it, and everyone is booking at once.
- Spray in August — cover holds through September, October and into November. That's the window.
This is why every Tasalli Complete plan includes a mosquito and pest spray every August, on the calendar, without anyone having to remember it.
Once a year is a dengue measure, not pest control
Worth being straight about, because plenty of companies aren't.
A single annual spray is a dengue measure — timed cover through the season when it matters most. It is not a pest control programme. If you have a live cockroach problem, a termite problem, bed bugs, or rodents, those need their own treatment on their own schedule, and pest firms in Pakistan generally recommend treating every three to six months for ongoing control.
We include one August spray because dengue is the risk that's worth putting on a fixed calendar. Anything beyond that, we quote separately, and we'll tell you honestly when a specialist pest firm is the better call.
What to check before booking any spraying
- Ask what chemical is used and whether it's residual. A knockdown fog kills what's flying now and is gone by evening. A residual treatment coats surfaces and keeps working for weeks. They're different products at different prices, and “fogging” often means the first.
- Ask what area is covered. Inside only, outside only, or both — including the drains, the plant beds, the water tank surround and the roof, which is where standing water actually collects.
- Ask how long before it's safe for children, elderly family members and pets, and how long to keep windows shut.
- Ask what happens if mosquitoes are back in three weeks. A treatment that's genuinely residual shouldn't fail that fast.
Free, and more effective than any spray
Spraying doesn't help much if the breeding sites stay. Aedes mosquitoes — the dengue carriers — breed in clean standing water, close to the house, in very small amounts:
- Plant pot saucers and the tray under the fridge
- Uncovered water storage, buckets, drums
- Roof drains holding water after rain
- Discarded tyres, tins and construction debris
- Air cooler trays left filled between uses
- Blocked roof outlets — the most-missed one in Lahore houses
Empty and dry all of it once a week. It costs nothing and does more than a spray does.
FAQ
How much does dengue spray cost in Lahore?
Published mosquito packages of three sprays run roughly Rs 10,000 to Rs 18,000 in 2026, scaling with property size. A single treatment costs proportionally less.
When should I spray for dengue in Lahore?
August. Residual treatment lasts about two to three months, and Lahore's dengue season peaks September to November — so an August spray covers the whole peak. May is too early and September is late.
How long does mosquito spray last?
A residual treatment stays effective roughly two to three months. A fogging or knockdown treatment kills what's present and offers little lasting protection.
Is one spray a year enough?
For dengue, one well-timed August treatment covers the season that matters. For general pest control — cockroaches, termites, rodents — it isn't; those need treatment every three to six months.
Is spraying safe around children and pets?
Ask the specific product and its re-entry time before booking, and keep children and pets out for the period the technician states.
