What electrical work costs in Lahore — 2026
Electrical work is the category where “let me see first” costs the most, because half the job is finding the fault and nobody prices that out loud. Below is what the common jobs cost, what we do free on a plan visit, and which jobs genuinely can't be quoted until someone has opened the board.

Fault-finding is the line to watch. A fault trace and the repair that follows are two separate pieces of work, and if you're quoted one number for both before anyone has looked, that number is a guess.

- Free for members — it uses one visit from your monthly allowance
- Rs 500 for non-members

Four things to check before an electrician starts
- Separate the diagnosis from the repair. Agree what finding the fault costs, then agree the repair price once he's found it. One blended number before anyone has looked is a guess you'll pay for.
- Ask what the part is and what it costs. A breaker has a make and a rating. “Breaker Rs 1,500” isn't a quote, it's a number.
- Ask whether the job needs new wiring. This is the line between a small job and a big one. Fitting a light where a point already exists is quick; running a new point is not, and the price should reflect which one it is.
- Ask what happens if it trips again. Ours carries a one-week written warranty, and a callback inside that week is free and uses no visit.
What we don't do
Rewiring, new points, and full house rewiring aren't covered by a plan — they're project work, quoted separately. Pre-existing faults are excluded for the first 30 days of a membership. We'd rather write that here than have you find it in the terms.
Honestly: when to just call someone
One socket, once a year? Call an electrician. It'll cost you a few hundred rupees and no plan is worth it for that.
The case for a plan is an older house where the board trips, the fan clicks, one room's sockets are dead, and every one of those means finding someone new and having the same conversation about price. That's what we're actually selling.
FAQ
How much does an electrician charge in Lahore?
For a small job — a socket, a switch, a tube light — expect a few hundred rupees plus materials, or from about Rs 500 as a callout. Fault diagnosis runs around Rs 1,000, and breaker replacement Rs 500 to Rs 1,200 depending on the part.
Why won't anyone quote a price for a wiring fault over the phone?
Because the fault has to be found before anyone knows what fixing it involves. A loose connection in a switchboard and a break inside a wall are the same symptom and very different jobs. Anyone quoting firmly over the phone is guessing.
Is diagnosing a tripping breaker free?
On a Tasalli plan, yes — it's on the free-on-visit list. For non-members it's Rs 650. Replacing the breaker is quoted separately because the part varies.
What does TV mounting cost in Lahore?
Ours is Rs 1,500 for 32–42 inch and Rs 2,000 for 43–65 inch, less on every plan. Dismounting is Rs 1,300.
Do you do full house wiring?
It's quoted after inspection and it isn't covered by a plan — it's project work, priced on its own.
